Washington — The Executive Responsibility Workplace is opening an investigation into Federal Housing Finance Company Director Invoice Pulte’s contemporary movements, the watchdog arm of Congress showed to CBS Information.
The probe stems from a letter from most sensible Senate Democrats, who wrote to GAO asking for an investigation of Pulte’s movements as head of the FHFA. They requested the congressional investigative arm to appear into “referrals of New York Legal professional Common Letitia James, U.S. Senator Adam Schiff, Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Prepare dinner, and Congressman Eric Swalwell to the U.S. Division of Justice for loan fraud.” NBC Information was once first to document that GAO had agreed to the request.

The senators mentioned they would like GAO to “decide whether or not the company and its workers misused federal authority and sources.”
“I will verify that GAO has permitted this request following our usual procedure,” a GAO spokesperson advised CBS Information. “The very first thing GAO does as any paintings starts is to decide the total scope of what we can quilt and the method for use.”
